ㅤpersonalityㅤㅤ Seemingly quiet and distant at first, Aletheia is shockingly intuative and thoughtful, thinking well before she speaks-- for the most part, at least. As a guildmaster, she's firm and takes no nonsense, but hides a gentle, kind disposition under stern direction and words. However, she is prone to getting lost in her own thoughts, for good and ill... sometimes prone to melancholy, it takes a while for this wyrm to truly open up, but when she does, she's full of stories and advice. When she cares about something, she cares very, very deeply, and thus keeps a small circle of friends close at hand. However, when angered, she is slow to forget the insult, and will not hesitate to use biting words if attacked verbally-- or her claws, if attacked physically...

ㅤbiographyㅤ Aletheia hails from a distant world whose name has been lost to time, although she sometimes calls it the Crystal World. Populated by wyrms and gods, she was the eldest daughter of two of the most powerful wyrms on the star and enjoyed a sweet and happy life, despite not having any powers of her own. It was not to last, however; a mass extinction event known only as the Devouring soon destroyed every living creature on the star, causing Aletheia's powers to stir-- allowing her to flee, quite by accident, to an adjacent timeline.After attempting to save that timeline and failing, Aletheia found herself in an endless spiral of death, eventually breaking away from the Crown of Thorns that formed every string of fate of her former world. Seeking to amass more power in order to one day return and save whatever remained of the Crystal World, Aletheia visited many worlds and realms, becoming either hero or villain, whatever was needed of her... and one day, she came ashore on the beaches of fair Etheirys in the distant past, joining the Ancients.She was left Unsundered during the Final Days due to her foreign aether, and endured for many ages, across many Rejoinings, until she almost met her untimely end during the Fall of Dalamud in Garlemald. It was Hydaelyn who saved her, placing a seal upon her memories to shield her from the past, and relinquished her back into the world. Thinking that she had only just recently come to Etheirys, Aletheia made a good life for herself, founding a successful guild and aiding the Scions of the Seventh Dawn as one of their most stalwart Warriors of Light. Her adventures continue-- you need only ask to learn about them...

From Beyond the Stars

Aletheia's beautiful and otherwordly appearance is a frequent topic of discussion no matter where she goes. Her slit pupils, exquisitely colored scales and a prideful nature tell an observer that she is a wyrm cloaked in human skin. Wyrms are not native to the star-- so where did she come from? Is she from the Dragonstar or from somewhere even farther away than that?

The North and South

Since the Final Days, Aletheia has served Vrtra and Thavnair as their Ambassador to Garlemald. She is fluent in the Northern language, has an in and out knowledge of all of their customs, and has an intimate knowledge of things about Garlean culture and life that most laypeople wouldn't know of. What's her connection to a nation that almost brought the world to its knees?

Business and Pleasure

Aletheia runs a small, tight knit free company that brings in millions of gil through textiles, herbs, spices and exotic woods. As a wyrm with luxury tastes, she maintains her business as a means of maintaining her own spending and to give her members a good life, although there are some whispers that it is a conflict of interest to continue running her guild whilst being married to Vrtra's eldest son.

Visions From The Past

Aletheia, being very long lived, is happy to tell stories about the things she's seen and the places she's done, but recent history seems to make her pause and become melancholy. Given her age, it is no surprise that she's been through grief some time or another. However, this is a sadness that seems to run bone deep, and on certain days-- especially notable holidays-- she becomes withdrawn and distant.

ㅤㅤAki Le'sorosㅤ

A mammet recreation of a long dead friend from the Crystal World, Aki serves as the guild liaison and is in charge of all the technicalities, from shipments, submersibles and much of Aletheia's paperwork. Happy and cheerful, this mammet is always eager to help anybody who asks, as well as look after her beloved guildmaster. However, sometimes the wyrm looks at Aki with melancholy in her eyes...

ㅤㅤY'suhn Unueㅤ

One of the longest standing members of Aletheia's guild, Suhn has stood steadfast by her side during the guild's growing pains, through hard times, and through ever shifting trends and historical events. A capable guardian who has saved her in more ways than one, serving as both bodyguard and confidant, there is no one Aletheia trusts more, save for a handful of trusted family and friends.

ㅤㅤIndrajit Devanandanㅤ

Indrajit and Aletheia met prior to the Final Days, where she first thought the man was an insufferable peacock and wanted nigh to do with him. It took many moons and no small amount of wooing from Indrajit, but at last Aletheia agreed to be with him, so long as she was able to continue her role as guildmaster and Ambassador. She frequently speaks of him with an exasperated tone, but it's plain to see that Aletheia truly loves Indrajit and is willing to do anything for his sake.

ㅤㅤNagarani Bhattachayaㅤ

A former member of Aletheia's guild from Sharlayan, she often kept the guildmaster on her toes with her firesetting and goblin-like antics, frequently testing her patience but always making her smile. When Nagarani first became involved with Indrajit, Aletheia took it upon herself to look after her, given the Lord Prince's vices-- only for her to fall for her in the process. As co-wives to Indrajit, Aletheia looks after Nagarani with great care and gentleness.

ㅤㅤKokochu Oronirㅤ

Having been dating the younger expy of her lord husband, Aletheia took a keen interest in the Xaela woman and went out of her way to make her feel welcome at Meghaduta, perhaps not wanting a repeat of how isolated she felt upon marrying into the Thavnairian royal family. She came to love her as one would a little sister, and makes it well known-- sometimes to people's chagrins-- that Kokochu will forever be under her protection. Woe to those who dare to say something ill about the Xaela in front of her...

ㅤㅤVrtraㅤ

Like all long-lived wyrms, Vrtra empathizes greatly with Aletheia and her past struggles, often lending a listening ear and brotherly advice-- even if it's coming from someone vastly younger than her. He allows Aletheia to run a guild branch out of Radz-at-Han and installed her as Ambassador to Garlemald to assist him in their political alliance, and frequently requests her presence at various meetings and gatherings. He fondly calls her 'Elder Sister', and Aletheia calls him 'Little Brother' with just as much love.

ㅤㅤWuk Lamatㅤ

Slowly but surely blossoming into her own, Wuk Lamat sought out Aletheia to aid her in her quest to become Dawnservant of Tural. Over the course of the trials, the two became close friends, Aletheia frequently coaching the woman in various topics such as politics, negotiation, and artistry. She views Wuk Lamat as one would a beloved younger sister, and is keen on helping her become the best Dawnservant of Resolve as she can be; without stepping on anybody's toes, of course, or overstepping her bounds as one of the many Warriors of Light.
